Quick Note

Since last posting, Apple has bumped the iMac, the MacBook Pro to Intel Core 2 Duo, and changed the PowerMac to the Mac Pro, with a quad C2D. Specs below:

Mac Pro
Two Intel Core 2 Duo, choice of 2ghz, 2.66ghz and 3ghz (per core)
Up to 16GB RAM
Up to 3TB HDDs
Choice of several video cards, raging from NIVARNA Ge Force 7300 (256VRAM) to the NIVARNA Quadro FX. Several other cards in bewteen
Can power up to two 30 inch cinema displays

iMac (Intel Core 2 Duo)
One Intel Core 2 Duo, choice of 1.83 ghz, 2 ghz, 2.16 ghz or 2.33 ghz
Up to 3GB RAM
Up to 750GB HDD
An ATI Raedon X1600 with 128 or 256 MB VRAM or a NIVARNA Ge Force 7300 or Ge Force 7600

MacBook Pro
One Intel Core 2 Duo, choice of 2.16 or 2.33 Ghz
Up to 3GB RAM
Up to 200GB HDD
An ATI Mobility Raedon X1600 with 128 or 256 MB VRAM

Expect a review on the Core Duo Mac Mini or the MacBook tommorw (have not made my mind up yet!)
