The XB-70 Vakeliri

The XB-70 was built as a high-level supersonic(Mach 3!!!) bomber to be used as a nuclear replacement for the B-52. Although it was a great plane in all it's test flights, it had to compete with the MiG 25 and the Soviet SAM missiles. It was never built, due to the amount of missiles entering SAC's inventory.
